It's nearly midnight on Christmas Eve. Our gifts are wrapped and gathered under the tree, I've already eaten my fill of cookies, and we're back from our first celebration at my grandparents' house. And out there, somewhere, the jolly ol' St. Nick is flying about delivering gifts to children all over the world.
We've celebrated Christmas Eve at my grandparents' house for more than two decades. Here are two of the Santas I've seen at their house for every year that I can remember---
He knows when you've been sleeping, and when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake!
And since we're on the number 2, here's a bonus for you: 2 Wrapping Papers
This is one of many reasons that I love my husband. When I find myself focused too much on making things look and feel "right" (making things perfect), he focuses on making things work. Case in point: tonight, we found ourselves with one medium box and two smaller pieces of wrapping paper. It won't appear on any magazine covers, but we wrapped this gift with as much love as all the others.
Merry Christmas to you all, and to all a good night!
